The Story
"Keep On Running" is probably blusiest music you've heard from the versitile and influential guitarist Robben Ford in quite a while. About half of the tracks on the album are creative arrangements of rock and blues classics which hearken back to his Blue Line period, such as "Me And My Woman", "Badge", "Peace, Love And Understanding", "For the Love of Money" and the title track. Daved Kohl, who runs the Robben Ford All Access Pass site, writes, "Ford's CD "Keep On Running" offers a blues sound blended with a variety of musical styles and tastes (from the 80's pop-rock of Elvis Costello to the soulful funk of the O'Jays), resulting in an exciting, fresh, and very listenable collection of songs... distinctly, enjoyably, Robben, familiar to his fans but also accessable to a wide audience of new listeners."
